One licensed tradie, one van, both trades. Residential electrical work and air conditioning across Gawler and Adelaide's north‑east — quoted from photos where possible, so you're not paying for a visit just to find out the cost.
What I do
Two tickets, one tradesman, no coordinating between trades.
Most air conditioning jobs need electrical work and most electrical upgrades touch the switchboard. Having both licences means one person, one price, one visit — and no waiting on someone else's schedule.
Electrical
- Switchboard upgrades, safety switches and RCBOs
- Power points, lighting and ceiling fans
- Halogen to LED downlight conversions
- EV charger supply and installation
- Fault finding and safety inspections
- Smoke alarms and rental compliance checks
- Outdoor, alfresco and shed power
- Data, TV and NBN points
Renovating or buying? A pre‑purchase electrical inspection is usually the cheapest hour you'll spend on the house.
Air conditioning
- Split system supply and installation
- Back‑to‑back and long pipe‑run installs
- Multi‑head systems for older homes
- Ducted system service and repair
- Annual service, filter and coil clean
- Leak testing and regas
- Breakdown repairs before the heat hits
- Evaporative service and changeovers
Book a service in autumn or early spring — mid‑summer breakdowns are the most expensive way to find out a system needed a clean.
Recent work
Jobs finished nearby, with what was actually involved.
Every job listed here is a real one, in a real suburb, with the time it took. If yours looks similar, the quote conversation gets a lot shorter.
How it works
Four steps, and you know the price before anyone turns up.
Send the job
Describe what you need and add photos — the switchboard, the wall you want the unit on, the light that stopped working.
Get a price
Most jobs can be quoted from photos on the same day. If it genuinely needs a look, I'll say so and what that costs up front.
Pick your window
You've already told me when you're free. I confirm a slot inside one of those windows by text — no all‑day waiting.
Job done, paid on the spot
Certificate of compliance where required, invoice emailed before I leave the driveway, card or transfer.
Request a quote
Tell me the job, show me a photo, pick your times.
Takes about two minutes. You'll get a reference number straight away and a reply the same working day.
Service area
Gawler, the Playford corridor, and Adelaide's north‑east.
Copper‑marked suburbs are where I'm most days — those usually get the quickest slot. Everywhere else on the list is still standard rate, no travel surcharge.
Just outside the list? Ask anyway — if I'm already heading that way it's usually fine.
Before you publish — the seven things to change
- Open the file and edit the
CONFIGblock at the top of the script — mobile, email, ABN, and both licence numbers. Everything on the page reads from there. - Put your real PGE contractor licence number in. In South Australia it's a legal requirement on any advertising shown to consumers, including your website and van.
- Put your real ARCtick RTA number in. It must appear wherever you advertise refrigeration or air conditioning services.
- Replace the eight placeholder job photos in the "Recent work" grid with your own — before and after shots of the switchboards, installs and downlight conversions you've already done.
- Rewrite the job descriptions to match those photos. Keep the suburb and the time taken: that's the part customers actually use to judge whether their job is similar.
- Quote requests and photos are emailed to
admin@yourtradiesa.com.auvia Netlify Forms. Swap to ServiceM8 online bookings when you set it up, so requests become jobs automatically. - Add a short fixed‑price list once you've got three months of job data — "downlight swap from $X", "safety switch from $Y". It converts better than an hourly rate on a website.
